Leveraging over three decades of industry experience, MacKenzie serves as a Sr. Client Service Associate supporting and helping to manage the CAS’ North Carolina operations. Prior to the April 2024 acquisition of the CAS division, the firm was defined as Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”), an SEC registered investment adviser headquartered in Norfolk, VA. In her role, she is tasked with daily account administration, management of custodial arrangements, and personalized, consistent support of valued client relationships. She currently serves on the Schwab Advisor Center Modernization Research Panel. Prior to joining WST, MacKenzie held management roles in operational, compliance and sales functions at Legg Mason and several Norfolk-based brokers.

MacKenzie is a Hampton Roads native and studied Business Administration at University of Mary Washington. She is active with the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, serves on the Board of Western Branch Philanthropy and serves the United Way of South Hampton Roads as a member of the New Agency Certification Panel and Agency Funding Review Panel.
