Amie is Managing Director for CAS. Prior to the April 2024 acquisition of the CAS division, the firm was defined as Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”), an SEC registered investment adviser headquartered in Norfolk, VA, where Amie held the role of Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager, serving on the firm’s Investment Committee and was responsible for investment research, account management and client relationships on the wealth management side of the business. Prior to joining WST, Amie worked at Waypoint Advisors, an RIA in Norfolk, conducting research on various asset classes.

Amie was born and raised in Franklin, Virginia. She earned from Longwood College a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in Economics, and a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFA Virginia.

Amie is an alumna of the LEAD Hampton Roads class of 2013 and serves on the board for Edmarc Hospice for Children and is chair of the foundation committee.
