As Sr. Portfolio Manager/Research, Danny conducts research in support of CAS’ Multi-Cap investment strategy, assists in alternative investment analysis, and supports custom portfolio analysis. Prior to the April 2024 acquisition of the CAS division, the firm was defined as Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”), an SEC registered investment adviser headquartered in Norfolk, VA, where Danny served as Research Analyst & Trader. Prior to joining WST, he interned at Coho Partners, Ltd. where he conducted fundamental equity research and generated dividend discount models for potential investments, along with other research initiatives.

Danny was born and raised in Davidson, North Carolina. He received his bachelor’s from the University of Richmond and a Master of Science in Finance degree from Villanova University. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
