A presence at the firm since 1999, Heather is a deeply experienced equities trader whose responsibilities include facilitating buys and sells, raising cash and representing the firm in custodial and broker interactions. She values both the importance of her work to client experience as well as the independence her role affords. Prior to the April 2024 acquisition of the CAS division, the firm was defined as Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”), an SEC registered investment adviser headquartered in Norfolk, VA. Preceding her joining WST, she worked as a retirement plan specialist at a regional brokerage firm.

Heather is a Hampton Roads native and she holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University.
