David C. Fulton, Jr., CFA

Dave Fulton, CFA, is Chairman Emeritus and serves on the Board of Directors for Clearstead, where he supports the firm’s strategic direction and governance. He has been working in the financial advisory industry since 1984 and joined Clearstead in 2009, and is a shareholder.

Dave brings expertise in firm leadership, strategic growth, and financial advisory services. Before joining Clearstead, he worked as Chief Executive Officer and led significant growth in the firm’s revenues, earnings, employee base, and assets under advisement. Throughout Dave’s career, he has led several firms to substantial expansion and success.

Dave obtained his undergraduate degree from Amherst College, gained his MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He currently serves as a Trustee and former Chairman of the Board of University School, and as a Trustee of the Lake View Cemetery Association, the Shaker Lakes Foundation, and United Way of Cleveland..
