Margie joined Clearstead as Chief Human Resources Officer in 2025 and is a strategic business partner and inspirational leader proven to deliver results in large, global, publicly held and family-owned companies, and government institutions. She is an influential leader and advocate who aligns people strategy to achieve business goals and positively impact cultures. Margie is a resilient change agent capable of making difficult decisions with a strong background navigating complex situations across cultures and continents.
Prior to joining Clearstead, Margie was the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Human Resources Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In this role she had responsibility for all aspects of the HR function as well as Bank strategy and performance reporting. During her tenure she was promoted to oversee communications, public information and engagement as well as Law Enforcement. In 2020 Margie was appointed as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Resources (SOHR) for the Federal Reserve System and led during the challenging COVID pandemic. She has also held positions as Vice President of Human Resources, Talent & Culture for the Vitamix Corporation, a Divisional Human Resources Executive for Siemens Healthcare, and leading HR teams with Dade Behring.
Margie has been asked to speak at numerous Women’s conferences on the topic of leadership and is actively sought out to coach executives and provide career counseling and mentoring for high potential employees.
She is passionate about education and serves as an executive board member of Lakewood Catholic Academy and past board member of Ohio Excels and Saint Joseph Academy. She is a member of the University of Akron HR Leadership Advisory Board. Margie has authored publications on the importance of education in our communities. Margie attended the strategic management program at Yale University and the Human Resources Development Program at the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Ohio University.
