Matthew Shannon, CIMA®

Matt Shannon is the Executive Managing Director and Head of Institutional Consulting Services at Clearstead, where he supports both institutional and private wealth clients with investment advisory services. He has been working in the financial services industry since 1998, joined Clearstead in 2023, and is a Clearstead shareholder.

Matt brings expertise in investment consulting, client relationship management, and international business development. Before joining Clearstead, he worked as Managing Director – Investments and Senior Institutional Consultant at Legacy Strategic Asset Management of Wells Fargo Advisors and previously served as Director of International Marketing at Shreiner Company. Throughout Matt’s career, he has led initiatives to support client portfolios and expand global market reach.

Matt obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from the University of Dayton and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA^®) designation. Matt currently serves on the St. Hilary Parish Foundation and the Brothers of the Holy Cross Investment Committee.
