Trent M. Meyerhoefer

Trent Meyerhoefer is Chief Financial Officer at Clearstead, where he leads the firm’s strategic planning, corporate development, and finance activities, including strategic growth initiatives and capital structure activities. He has been working in leadership roles in corporate development and finance for various industries since 1999, after starting his career in consulting in 1990. Trent joined Clearstead in 2022, as a shareholder.

Trent brings expertise in strategy, acquisitions and integration, corporate finance, operations, and systems. Before joining Clearstead, he worked as Chief Financial Officer of BBQ Holdings, LLC, and as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ranpak Holdings Corp. He also spent nearly 25 years at Eaton Corporation plc in various strategy, finance, and business development roles, including as Senior Vice President & Treasurer his last 7 years at Eaton. Throughout Trent’s career, he has led initiatives to drive corporate evolution, financial performance, and operational excellence.

Trent obtained his undergraduate degree from Albion College and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Trent currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Ideastream Public Media and the Ohio Evans Scholars Foundation of the Western Golf Association.
