Amie Baty, CFA

Amie Baty is a Managing Director at Clearstead Advisory Solutions, where she supports investment research, portfolio management, and client relationships. She has been working in the financial services industry since 2003 and joined Clearstead in 2024.

Amie brings expertise in investment research, account management, and wealth advisory services. Before joining Clearstead, she served as Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”) until it was acquired by Clearstead. Prior to WST, Amie worked at Waypoint Advisors, conducting research on various asset classes. Throughout Amie’s career, she has served on the firm’s Investment Committee and led initiatives in client service and portfolio strategy.

Amie earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Longwood College and a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She currently serves on the board for Edmarc Hospice for Children and is chair of the foundation committee. Amie is also an alumna of the LEAD Hampton Roads class of 2013.
