Ariel Brunn, CFA

Ariel Brunn is a Managing Director, Investment Analyst & PM at Clearstead Avalon Trust, where he identifies new investment opportunities, monitors existing holdings, and provides quantitative analysis for the investment committee. He has been working in the investment industry since 2013 and joined Clearstead in 2014.

Ariel brings expertise in investment research, portfolio construction, and financial analysis. Before joining Clearstead, he performed financial analysis for Cottonwood Technology Fund, a venture capital firm, and spent several years abroad—first in Argentina, where he attained fluency in Spanish, and then in Germany as an English instructor to corporate executives. Throughout Ariel’s career, he has supported portfolio management and contributed to research-driven investment decisions.

Ariel obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature from the University of British Columbia and his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Ariel currently serves on the Endowment Advisory Committee for the Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library.
