David Strickland

David Strickland

David Strickland is a Managing Director at Clearstead, where he provides strategic investment advice to institutional clients by helping evaluate investment objectives, asset allocation, investment policy statements, and portfolio performance. He has worked in the investment management industry since 2008 and joined Clearstead in 2025.

David brings expertise in financial modeling and the development of comprehensive investment programs aligned with organizational goals, as well as manager searches and due diligence, investment research, portfolio construction, and ongoing consulting. Prior to Clearstead, he served as an Investment Specialist in the Global Fixed Income Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from 2010 to 2024 and began his career as an investment analyst at Citigroup from 2008 to 2010. Throughout his career, David has led client advisory initiatives and supported institutional investment programs.

David obtained his B.S.B.A. with a specialization in Finance from Bowling Green State University, and is a CFA Charterholder. He is a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland.
