Jake Matthews

Jake Matthews is a Managing Director, Sustainability Analyst & PM at Clearstead Avalon Trust, where he monitors the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance of existing holdings and collaborates with the investment team to identify new opportunities within the sustainable investing space. He has been working in the client services and business management industry since 2013 and joined Clearstead in 2022.

Jake brings expertise in ESG analysis, operational reporting, and client engagement. Before joining Clearstead, he served as Director at El Gancho Fitness, Swim and Racquet Club and previously worked in business development at cloud software firm NetSuite. Throughout Jake’s career, he has supported client-focused organizations with a strong emphasis on service, process improvement, and sustainability.

Jake obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Anthropology from Kenyon College, where he was a student-athlete on the tennis team. He also studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
