James T. Thomas, CPA

James joined Clearstead’s Private Client Services in 2016. As a Managing Director of Tax, he is responsible for the oversight of all trust and foundation income tax returns. While also helping provide trust administration support to our private clients and trust companies. James is also the Chair and Treasurer of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Council.

Prior to joining Clearstead, James served as a student ambassador at Notre Dame College, and a Site Coordinator for the Earned Income Tax Coalition of Greater Cleveland. He holds a B.A. in Accounting along with a B.A. in Business Management from Notre Dame College.
