Paul Ferwerda, CFA

Paul Ferwerda is a Managing Director at Clearstead Advisory Solutions, where he supports investment analysis, marketing, client service, and portfolio management. He has been working in the investment industry since 1987 and joined Clearstead in 2024.

Paul brings expertise in investment strategy, client relations, and portfolio management. Before joining Clearstead he worked at Thompson Siegel & Walmsley for over 28 years and at AmSouth Bank for five years, where he held roles in investment analysis, marketing, client service, and portfolio management. Throughout Paul’s career, he has led initiatives focused on delivering tailored investment solutions and building long-term client relationships.

Paul obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Auburn University and earned an M.B.A. from Duke University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of CFA Society Virginia.
