Robert Norfleet

Rob Norfleet is a Managing Director at Clearstead, where he supports mission-driven organizations through tailored investment strategies. He has been working in the investment industry since 1999 and joined Clearstead in 2025.

Rob brings expertise in investment strategy, equity analysis, and capital markets transactions. Before joining Clearstead, he worked as a Senior Investment Advisor with Truist’s Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice and held senior equity analyst roles at Alembic Global Advisors, BB&T Capital Markets, and Davenport & Company. He also has experience with multi-strategy hedge funds and capital markets transactions. Throughout Rob’s career, he has led investment initiatives and advised nonprofit and foundation clients.

Rob obtained his B.A. from the University of the South and his MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. Rob currently serves on the boards of the Richmond SPCA and the Alumni Board at St. Christopher’s School, and is actively involved in St. Stephen’s Church, Leadership Metro Richmond (Class of 2020), and the Standing Committee for The Society of the Cincinnati.
