David A. McClearn, CFA

Dave joined Clearstead in 2015 and has over a decade of experience in the investment business.  Dave is responsible for the development and maintenance of investment policy, asset allocation, manager selection, and portfolio monitoring for a number of prominent Clearstead client families.  He is also a member of the firms’ Asset Allocation Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Dave was a Financial Analyst for a San Diego based wealth management firm where he oversaw the organization’s financial planning, portfolio management, and trading activities. Dave is a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a BSBA in Finance.  Dave also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
