David A. McClearn, CFA

Dave McClearn is a Senior Managing Director in the Private Client Group at Clearstead, where he isresponsible for leading client relationships and delivering comprehensive wealth advisory servicesthrough a collaborative team approach. He has been working in the wealth and investment industrysince 2010, joined Clearstead in 2015, and has been a shareholder since 2019.

Dave brings expertise in portfolio management, investment strategy, and financial analysis. Beforejoining Clearstead, he worked as a Wealth Analyst for a San Diego-based financial advisory firm,where he oversaw financial planning, portfolio management, and trading activities.

Dave obtained his BSBA in Finance from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and holdsthe Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is also a member of Clearstead’s AssetAllocation Committee. Dave currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Village Project, a localnon-profit located in Bay Village, Ohio.
