David Wohlabaugh, CFS®

David Wohlabaugh is a Managing Director at Clearstead, where he works with both institutional and private wealth clients. He has been working in the financial services industry since 2012,  joined Clearstead in 2023, and has been a shareholder since 2025

David brings expertise in institutional consulting, fiduciary advisory, and private wealth management. Before joining Clearstead, he served as a Financial Consultant, Senior Institutional Consultant, and Institutional Plan Fiduciary Consultant at Legacy Strategic Asset Management of Wells Fargo Advisors, and was previously part of an advisory team at Wells Fargo Advisors. Prior to entering the financial services industry, David spent nine years in the NFL as a player with the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, and St. Louis Rams. Throughout David’s career, he has led client advisory initiatives and fiduciary consulting programs.

David obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Syracuse University, with an emphasis in International Relations, and holds the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®) designation. He has volunteered his time with Disabled American Veterans, Hunt of a Lifetime, and the Spina Bifida Association.
