Sharon Whitacre, CFP®, CIMA®

Sharon joined Clearstead in 2023. As a Senior Managing Director, Sharon works with both institutional and private wealth clients.

Prior to joining Clearstead, Sharon was a Financial Consultant and Senior Institutional Consultant at Legacy Strategic Asset Management of Wells Fargo Advisors. She was previously part of a consulting team at Morgan Stanley and has a broad background in commercial banking, private banking, and trust services at Bank One, Columbus, NA, and Bank One, Colorado Springs, NA. Sharon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Dayton. She achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 1996 and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation in 2009. She is an active member of the Investment & Wealth Institute (IWI) and the Financial Planners Association (FPA). Sharon volunteers her time serving as Board Chair for Hudson Community Foundation.
