Shirley Baldwin, CPA, CFP®

Shirley Baldwin is a Senior Managing Director at Clearstead, where she leads the Tax Division in Clearstead’s Mid-Atlantic region. She has been working in the public accounting industry since 1994 and joined Clearstead in 2024.

Shirley brings expertise in tax strategy, gift and estate planning, and client advisory services. Before joining Clearstead, she was the founder and principal of Baldwin Advisory, LLC, and previously served as a partner at KPMG, LLP, working with both public and private company executives across industries including transportation, retail and distribution, and real estate development and management. Throughout Shirley’s career, she has led complex planning engagements and is coauthor of the CCH Guide to Cost Segregation.

Shirley obtained her BS in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia and her MBA from the College of William & Mary. She holds both CPA and CFP® designations.
