Tom McNally, CMT, CFA

Tom McNally is a Managing Director at Clearstead Advisory Solutions, where he oversees trading operations, serves as a quantitative strategist, and is the lead Portfolio Manager on key strategies managed through CAS. He has been working in the investment industry since 1999 and joined Clearstead in 2024.

Tom brings expertise in trading strategy, portfolio management, and quantitative analysis. Before joining Clearstead he served as Director of Trading at Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”) until it was acquired by Clearstead. Throughout Tom’s career, he has led initiatives in institutional trading, investment strategy development, and portfolio execution.

Tom obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Economics from James Madison University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.
