Tom oversees CAS’ trading operations, serves as a quantitative strategist, and is the lead Portfolio Manager on key strategies managed through CAS. Prior to the April 2024 acquisition of the CAS division, the firm was defined as Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”), an SEC registered investment adviser headquartered in Norfolk, VA, where he served as Director of Trading. Prior to joining WST in 2005, he served as a Portfolio Manager at a regional investment advisory firm.

Born on Long Island, New York, Tom graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Economics. He holds the professional designations of Chartered Market Technician and Chartered Financial Analyst.
