Magda Fitzgerald | A 2025 Woman of the Year

As a Senior Client Service Associate in the firm’s Deerfield, IL office, Magda Fitzgerald has established deep and personal relationships with the clients she interacts with, allowing her to know the best ways to support each one individually. On top of her direct work with clients, she also supports administrative functions around the office, whether that’s collecting or scanning documents, ordering supplies, and supporting her colleagues.

“These responsibilities also support our clients’ needs,” Magda said, “Which can also go outside typical wealth management services and include helping them with mortgages or when their children are born. It’s all very rewarding.”

When the Deerfield office was acquired in 2025, Magda also played an integral role in helping the team integrate into the broader Clearstead enterprise. She was the primary point of contact who helped collect data, provide information needed, and ensure a smooth transition for her colleagues and all their clients.

Since the integration, Magda has enjoyed being part of a larger firm and being able to access additional resources who can help address client needs or other requests. “Knowing there is someone I can reach out to for something I need has been the biggest benefit.” Magda shared. “It’s great to have the support of others across Clearstead to make sure our clients’ needs are being met.”

Magda joined her office in 2023 as a Client Service Professional and eventually grew into her current senior role by spending most of her time working directly with clients and building relationships with them over time.

“I want to keep growing in my role and develop additional leadership skills,” Magda said, “And now that we’re part of a larger firm, I think there are more opportunities to grow and help Clearstead get to where it wants to be as a successful firm.”

Magda has over 11 years of experience working in client service and spends time outside the office with her family and attending her children’s sporting events.

Her efforts to establish deep relationships with the clients that she works with allows Magda to be a steward of their wealth, directly aligning with Clearstead’s aim to help individuals’ and families’ legacies thrive.
