As a Client Service Associate for Clearstead Trust in Portland, ME, Kelly King enjoys simplifying complex information for clients and providing services that support what matters most to them. This dedication to quality service helps her and her colleagues build strong relationships with the individuals and families they work with.

“I enjoy being a reliable point of contact,” Kelly said, “Someone clients know they can reach out to with questions, concerns, or requests and know they will receive timely and thoughtful support.”

In her role, Kelly’s daily work is a blend of client communication, account administration, and operational tasks like responding to client inquiries and processing money movements. She also checks for alerts or account notifications from custodians and reviews and completes tasks and requests from advisors or other team members.

For the families and individuals that Clearstead Trust works with, finance can often feel overwhelming, but Kelly enjoys collaborating with the rest of her team to create clarity and ease for clients. “Everyone works together to make sure clients receive the best possible service,” Kelly shared, “There is always a willingness to help each other when something needs to be resolved quickly for a client.”

Kelly has been with Clearstead Trust since 2023, supports advisors in her office and ensures clients receive smooth and accurate service, and also helps with special projects like implementation of the firm’s CRM system for their office.

“My goals are to provide exceptional service to our clients white supporting advisors,” Kelly said, “I want to be someone clients feel comfortable reaching out to.”

Kelly has over 10 years of experience providing client services and spends time outside of the office volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, as well as a local animal refuge and local food bank. In addition to these volunteer efforts, Kelly also enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, boating, and enjoying the beautiful sights that Maine has to offer.
