Kurt Evertz

Kurt Evertz is a Managing Director at Clearstead Advisory Solutions, where he supports advisors, financial intermediaries, and institutions with portfolio management and research across public and private markets. He has been working in the investment industry since 2016 and joined Clearstead in 2024.

Kurt brings expertise in portfolio management, investment research, and institutional consulting. Before joining Clearstead he served as a Portfolio Manager at Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC (“WST”) until it was acquired by Clearstead. Throughout Kurt’s career, he has led efforts in investment strategy development and client advisory, and currently serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Kurt obtained his degree in Economics from James Madison University and an M.B.A. in Finance from The College of William & Mary, Raymond A. Mason School of Business, where he was a McGlothlin Scholar. He currently serves on the board of the United Way of South Hampton Roads.
