Lawrence M. Carone, CFA, CAIA

Lawrence M. Carone is a Senior Managing Director at Clearstead, where he provides strategic advice to foundation and endowment clients. He has been working in the institutional investment industry since 1994, joined Clearstead in 2019, and is a Clearstead shareholder.

Lawrence brings expertise in relationship management, quantitative equity and fixed income strategies, and strategic advisory for institutional clients. Before joining Clearstead, he worked in relationship management for Fort Washington and PNC Capital Advisors, and as an investment analyst for quantitative equity and fixed income strategies at Chicago Equity Partners. Throughout Lawrence’s career, he has led investment strategy initiatives for clients ranging from $1 million non-profits to a $900 billion sovereign wealth fund.

Lawrence obtained his BSBA in Economics from The Ohio State University, and holds both the CFA Charterholder and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. He currently serves on the investment committee of the Community Foundation of Lorain County.
