Kimberly Trnavsky | A 2025 Woman of the Year

As the Private Markets Operations Analyst Lead within Clearstead’s Investment Office, Kimberly Trnavsky frequently juggles many tasks, requests, and fund deadlines to ensure that clients’ investments are moving in the right direction. A key focus of her work is submitting client requests to funds and coordinating all communications and questions, documentation, deadlines, and other requirements for investments.

“I often have to think quickly and on my toes to problem solve,” Kimberly said, “There’s also a lot of variety in my work each day which makes it exciting and interesting and frequently provides a nice change of pace.”

In her role, Kimberly is a critical member of the Private Markets team at Clearstead, overseeing operations for all private investments and interacting with private client advisors and institutional consultants at the firm to understand their clients’ needs.

Despite the myriad nuances of her work and the volume of day-to-day execution of tasks, she also enjoys being involved in shaping how her department works and drives growth within the firm and the investment support offered to clients. “I’m enjoying shaping the future of this function and how it fits into the bigger Clearstead vision,” Kimberly shared, “It’s exciting and like putting a puzzle together to make the best picture.”

Kimberly joined Clearstead in 2019 as a Client Service Associate for the firm’s Private Client Services, and eventually grew into her current role through involvement with investment operations for many clients.

“I’ve really enjoyed the growth spurt Clearstead has been in as it has created more opportunities that didn’t exist previously,” Kimberly said, “I like being in a position where we can each help shape this change and growth.”

Kimberly has over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry and spends time outside the office traveling, exploring, and getting out of her comfort zone with new experiences.

Having a strong vision for her role and department, building and enhancing a strong foundation for private investment operations, are excellent examples of how Kimberly embodies the pioneering and innovative qualities that Clearstead values highly.
